The international Economics program is based on Theoretical Economics (a national key first-level discipline) and Applied Economics (a provincial key first-level discipline). The international program in Business Administration is based on Business Administration, a provincial key first-level discipline. The program enables students to master fundamental principles and to practice analytically skills in modern Economics and Management. Graduate students from the program will be qualified for professional positions and business practices, or for further study and research in Economics and Management in an international scope.

The program allows students to learn the most spoken foreign languages for the future international business, encourages students to practice communication and teamwork skills in a globally-diversified team, and stimulates students to adapt to a truly international context. It provides particular perspectives on recent development in global economy and actual practice of growing economies, with distinct experiences from Chinese developing strategies and practices. We expect to cultivate talents with strategic thinking and decision-making competences, entrepreneurship and innovative spirits,as well as abilities in adapting to the increasingly complex globalization and the rising role of emerging economies.
